Details:

The Confession of Peter refers to an episode in the New Testament in which the Apostle Peter proclaims Jesus to be the Christ[1]. This is depicted in Peter's Confession (1503) by Master of Delft, which shows Christ being led out from his trial on the left panel and Peter's confession on the right panel[2][3]. The Lord praised Simon Peter for his proclamation and proclaimed him blessed above all others[4].
