Welcome to another minute mental prayer. First of all, let's ask Our Blessed Lord to enlighten us and guide us to greater truth, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen +

Now, let's think about these reflections for a few moments while meditating on this quote:

"Be zealous for reading and for doing. And let the Law of God be your meditation at every time."
Saint Aphrahat

What does this quote mean? What lesson does it teach me? What virtue can I practice based on this quote?

Here is a related reading from the Summa Theologiae: “it was necessary for the salvation of man that certain truths which exceed human reason should be made known to him by divine revelation. Even as regards those truths about God which human reason could have discovered, it was necessary that man should be taught by a divine revelation; because the truth about God such as reason could discover, would only be known by a few, and that after a long time, and with the admixture of many errors.”

Now, let's thank God for his enlightenment, mercy, and forgiveness. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen ☦️
