Welcome to another minute mental prayer. First of all, let's ask Our Blessed Lord to enlighten us and guide us to greater truth, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen +

Now, let's think about these reflections for a few moments while meditating on this quote:

“They that fear the Lord, keep his Commandments, and will have patience even until his visitation.”

Sirach 2:21. Douay-Rheims Bible

Do you have patience when things are difficult? Are you prepared for the return of Christ? Do you keep the Commandments as much as possible?

Patience is a tricky skill. Sometimes it takes a whole lifetime to master it. Some people – most people – never master it. And that is sad. You're not one of those people, right? You practice your patience everyday and you ask your guardian angel to help you become more and more patient...right? If not, you should start today. Our Blessed Lord will give you strength and patience if you ask for it. Remember that Christ once said:

“And which of you, if he ask his father bread, will he give him a stone? or a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?” Luke 11:11

Now, let's thank God for his enlightenment, mercy, and forgiveness. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen +
