Welcome to another minute mental prayer. First of all, let's ask Our Blessed Lord to enlighten us and guide us to greater truth, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen +

Now, let's think about these reflections for a few moments while meditating on this quote:

“All the ordinary deeds done every day to relieve the corporal or spiritual needs of others are true works of mercy, if done in the name of Christ.”
Baltimore Catechism

What does this quote mean? What lesson does it teach me? What virtue can I practice based on this quote?

The sign of the cross is a powerful weapon, and an easy method for staying in the good graces of God. It is ancient. People have been making the sign of the cross for over 1800 years! And when you watch these videos, you are praying the sign of the cross twice. Once at the beginning and once at the end. Even better, you should wear a cross or crucifix everyday. Why? I have a video about that too, link is in the description. In short, reminding ourselves of the sacrifice and power of Christ through the cross could never be a bad thing.

Now, let's thank God for his enlightenment, mercy, and forgiveness. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen ☦️
