Welcome to another minute mental prayer. First of all, let's ask Our Blessed Lord to enlighten us and guide us to greater truth, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen +

Now, let's think about these reflections for a few moments while meditating on this quote:

“All the kingdoms of this world are worth nothing to me”

St. Ignatius of Antioch. Letter to the Romans

How do you value worldly things? Do you work too much and forget about God or your family? Do you want money and material things more than spiritual things? How often do you consider your eternal home?

I could think of a few more questions on this topic, but I'll stop there. Pick one or more of the questions above and ponder on them. Think deeply and try to find a real answer to the question. It is easy to forget the invisible world. Well...because it is invisible. You can't see it. Out of sight, out of mind, right? Don't let your heavenly reward slip through your fingers because it is hard to see. I can promise you that it will be well worth the effort. In the end, you will find how easy our burdens were, as Christ stated in the gospel. His yoke is light. But we won't realize how light it was until we rise again into glory. Hope to see you there.

Now, let's thank God for his enlightenment, mercy, and forgiveness. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen +
