Chalice Veil and Burse at Latin Mass - Catholic Stock Photo
A chalice veil is a square piece of fabric made of the same material and color as the priest's vestments. It is used to cover the chalice and paren while they sit upon the altar prior to the Canon and after the ablutions. A burse is a special cover for carrying the corporal.
