The statue of the Martyrdom of Saint Cecilia, by Stefano Maderno resides in Santa Cecilia in Trastevere and is one of the most famous examples of Baroque sculpture.

Santa Cecilia in Trastevere is a 5th-century church in Rome, Italy, in the Trastevere rione, devoted to the Roman martyr Saint Cecilia (early 3rd century AD).
