Good Monday morning! I hope you had a great weekend. I know that things are still difficult. There's lock-downs, quarantines, and most schools will be closed this coming Fall. We are definitely living in strange times.
However, you should remember that Our Lord lived in strange times as well. Jews were under the thumb of the Roman Empire; they were second class citizens. Christians were even less liked, the Jews wanted to kill Jesus and his followers. Eventually, they did kill Our Blessed Lord.
He died a horrible death. So, a little COVID (no matter how bad it gets) pales in comparison. Even though it feels like the end of the world. God is the only one who can provide peace. COVID will come and go and some other calamity or crisis will arise. Trust in God and you cannot go wrong.
