Expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden, Stained Glass Window (2016, Saint Mary Magdelene Church, Greenville, South Carolina, United States) - Catholic Stock Photo
Details:
The Adam and Eve story is found in the Bible's Book of Genesis[1]. God created Adam and then Eve, placing them in the Garden of Eden to care for it[1]. The Devil tempted Eve with the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, which she ate[2][3]. Adam was with her and also ate it, causing their eyes to be opened and their innocence lost[2][4]. As punishment, God banished them from Eden.
