Details:

Peterskirche, or St. Peter's Church, is a Baroque Roman Catholic church in Vienna. Construction began around 1701 and its design was inspired by the St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. By 1722, most of the building was finished. In 1733, the Peterskirche was consecrated to the Holy Trinity. It was transferred in 1970 by the Archbishop of Vienna Franz Cardinal König to the priests of the Opus Dei.
