Ecclesiastical Art History
This course covers the development of Christian art from the first to the tenth century, including the use of symbolism, mosaic decoration, and the art produced during the Ostrogothic occupation of Italy. Students will gain an understanding of the significance of Ravenna in early Christian art. Suitable for those interested in art history or religious studies.
