This reprint seeks to introduce Behold the Handmaid to new audiences! It is a comic book created by the Catechetical Guild Educational Society and published by PfLaum Publishing Group in 1954. Original copies of this comic book are almost impossible to find. It is the story of the Virgin Mary, from her birth until her assumption into heaven. Included in this book are two additional stories from the Catechetical Guild Educational Society and comic book covers from their magazine (Treasure Chest) which was published biweekly from 1946–1972.
