Cruets are small vessels of glass or metal that hold the water and wine which are to be mixed in the Chalice for the Sacrifice of the Mass. The aspergillum is an instrument intended for the sprinkling of holy water and the aspersorium is a vessel which holds the holy water used in the sprinkling. A Communion Paten has a handle and is held under the chin of one receiving the Eucharist so that in case the Host is dropped, it won't fall to the floor.
